Here's the most recent pics of the paint job in progress. The high top and right side is finished. The front and left side still has some touch ups to be completed before the final coat is put on. That should be done with the fins this week. Green primer from a Willy's Jeep project was used if you were wondering about all that green. The back door is a good representation of what she will look like.

Here's the newest pics of the fins being painted. This isn't the final red but close. We're trying to follow the fin line of the original caddy a much as possible even though our fins are not as prominent.
In this one you can see the new white on the high-top.

Awesome, are you gonna go for the Ecto-1 or Ecto-1a look?

Definitely Ecto-1. We are putting a satellite dish on the roof rack, but no hazard stripes or any of that jazz. To make it our own a bit more we are putting our AZ GB logo on only the back door.

Here are the pics of the car after being unwrapped like a giant Christmas present. The paint job has been completed and now it's time to install the engine and put the trim and accessories on. The paint is beautiful and you can literally see yourself in it as evidenced by Matt's reflection while taking the pics. I can't imagine what's it's going to be like out in the Arizona sun.

Here are the most recent pics of the car after being moved outside. The rear brakes, tires, and suspension are all being replaced and upgraded. The gas tank was found to be damaged. With the repair cost almost equally a new one, a new one was ordered instead.

Nope we're not altering the body at all. She's the Arizona Ghostbusters Ecto. Not the Ecto-1, so we're not going to try to make her look more like a caddy.

Yeah we had alot of people telling us to cut the top down and fabricate fins and all of that kind of stuff. Apparently they weren't thinking about cost when making those kind of suggestions. Most people won't care or notice the difference in models and even the ones that do, will still hopefully appreciate the work we put into it. One way we're making it our own is to put our AZ GB logo on the back door. We'll use the regular logo on the front doors.

We're going mainly 1. Only 1A element we're doing for now is the satellite dish. We may put the LED signs on each side of the high top later if we can find some working ones cheap that used to be in an office. The logo on the hood would be a definite victim of fading out here in the sun.
