Nightmare on Elm Street Reboot is a Trilogy

Platinum Dunes is currently working on "A Nightmare on Elm Street" reboot with music video director Samuel Bayer trying to make the April 16th, 2010 release. Now, Bloody-Disgusting caught up with actor Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen), who revealed that the plan is to turn the new reboot into a trilogy. He has already signed on for all three films, joining actress Rooney Mara, who previously revealed that she will be returning as well. "A Nightmare on Elm Street" revolves around a serial child molester, who is murdered by angry parents but returns with a burned face and a razor glove to terrorize teens in their dreams.

Freddy wrapped on Elm Street?

Just a little tidbit out of the Elm Street reboot this morning, as producer Brad Fuller (Friday The 13th) has revealed that "freddy is wrapped."

The news trickled out via Fuller's Twitter page, where he's been dropping tiny details throughout the now two-month production. What that means is that Jackie Earle Haley has completed his portion of the filming, so all the would-be paparazzi hoping to spy a glimpse of the new Freddy Krueger can put the cameras away.
