City of Ember

The movie was ok, it started a little bit slow but after a while it became more interested, Bill Murray was great, didn't saw him since "Lost in Translation", so it was great to see him back, there was a little GB moment in the movie when he said "get her", it was thinking: go make GBIII now. lol, probably that's why every interview he did of "City of Ember" they ask him about GBIII. lol

They didn't show it in the TV interview but it's from the same scene:

I saw the movie "The Strangers" like a few weeks ago during christmas vacation. It was "okay" I figure it would have had a story behind it. But I guess it was just a good scare movie. I was greatly disappointment. Mainly because I bolt it. I had a big frown on my face after it was over.

I never heard that much about "The Strangers", once saw the poster that stars Liv Tyler in it but that's all.

Recently I saw "Hellboy II: The Golden Army", this movie was better then the first one, also the creatures were more realistic then other movies these days because del Toro used a lot of puppets instead of CGI models, visual the movie was great, you clearly see LOTR things in it, no wonder they hire him to direct "The Hobbit".
After I saw "Hellboy 2" I wanted to see del Toro previous Spanish movie: "El Laberinto del fauno (Pan's Labyrinth)

I thought it was a fantasy movie like "Labyrinth (1986)" but in a more serious way if you look at the poster, turned out the movie centers more about something else then that, still the movie isn't that bad, it's nr 69 on the IMDB top 250 but I think lots of people got mislead when they saw this movie like me but don't mislead you by this, it still is a great movie.

Gh0st,

I wouldn't waist time seeing it. I enjoyed it so much that i actually left it at my brothers lol. He mention it to me and said he would sent it to me in the mail. All it's about is this couple which stars Liv Tyler & Scott Speedman. They return to this summer home after a wedding repception. And during the night they get stalked by 3 masked killers. When I first saw the trailer. I thought it was something like the movie Valentine. But the story has no meaning or no indication as to why they were asulting the couple. It was said they did it because they were home. It's said the movie was based on several true advents. Like the keddie murders. My husband and I talked about it this evening. And he said "Waist of money, it was dull and borning" lol

So there you go!

sorry mistake Embarassed
it was "get it from her, now!", and the "now!" is like on the battle with Vigo at the end of GB2
I got confused with the "get her!" and "get it from her, now!" at 2 min. 42 sec. here lol bounce

Ros: Since I only saw the poster once I wasn't in this movie interested anyway.

Fome: Yeah, I saw this video again before I posted the "get her" video.

I watched Saw V last night. It was pretty good. But I think the ending could have been a little better. The story was okay. But it didn't seem as good as the 4th one. I really liked the guy that plays hoffman. Hot man! Laughing

Outlander: I didn't knew that much about this movie and I thought it would be another cheap, bad acting with crappy sfx movie but it was much better then I thought, it's not a masterpiece but it's a good R-rated sci-fi action movie that reminds me a lot of Beowulf, highly recommended for a Sunday afternoon.

when I first saw you say "Outlander" I thought of Children of the corn" LOL

thought it might have been something like children of the corn. I know that sounds silly. the picture sure has no corn field.
