Jeremy Renner to Star in "Mad Max 4"?

During an interview with The Modesto Bee, actor Jeremy Renner (The Hurt
Locker, 28 Weeks Later, SWAT) revealed that he has auditioned for the
upcoming "Mad Max" movie.

"I'm also fighting to do the new 'Mad Max' film with [url=http://www.worstpreviews.com/names.php?name=george miller]George Miller[/url]," he said. "That might be next summer. I'm screen-testing and meeting George Miller."

confirmed that Miller is pushing forward with another installment, we
still have no idea if that installment will be the R-rated 3-D anime
film that Miller has previously mentioned or a live-action one.

in May we heard that Miller was scouting locations in Sydney to shoot
"Mad Max 4," which suggests that he has abandoned the anime route and
has decided to go live-action.

Multiple sources tell E! News that the Oscar-winning babe is director George Miller's pick to play the lead female role in the upcoming, Mel-less Mad Max 4.

When he announced that he would begin work on the sequel back in 2007, Miller admitted Gibson was too old for the antihero role of "Mad" Max Rockatansky, and said, "I don't think he would be interested in being involved at all."

Instead, Miller is looking at little-known Brit Tom Hardy, whose credits include Black Hawk Down and Band of Brothers, to play opposite Theron.

However, the Mad Max revamp is a long way from fruition, and Miller is being very secretive about the roles and plot. Actors auditioning for the film have only been given a letter for their character's name. The studio has yet to sign off on Miller's choices, and no formal offers have been made.

i def dont think Mel Gibson is too old, Poeple need to Age, and so does Mad Max so, by casting another person for the role, once again they are ganna fuck a movie up by not havin the orignal poeple/person in it
