The great garbled Arnie language is always great in any movie.

That's what makes Predator also special, all the actors where great in there roles.
That's why those AVP movies sux. lol

see i lied the AVP movies becuase it kinda, if ya really look into it, ties the Alien Movies in wit the Predator movies becuase at the end of Predator 2 there are Alien skulls and bones on there ship.....

The cameo appearance of the alien skull at the end of Predator 2 started the whole AVP franchise, first with comic books and video games but took 14 years after Predator 2 they made it into a movie, worst thing is that James Cameron wroted a 5th Alien movie a that time and Ridley Scott would direct it and even Sigourney Weaver would be back as Ellen Ripley but 20th Century decided to make AVP instead, big mistake.

maybe theyll still make an Alien 5, even though Alien 4 didnt get a very good responce, i liked it but it didnt do as well as the other 3 alien movies at all.....so they thought expand the franchises then slam em together, i tmean i liked AVP and AVPR i thought they were great movies, i mean the actin was a bit bad yes, but the effects and shit, i loved

I don't know about that, they blew up there chance with James Cameron and Ridley Scott, Fox will probably should give them more cash to come back if they really want a 5th Alien film, since we don't know what Predators will be, a remake, reboot or sequel they could do the same with Alien in a couple of years if this new Predator movie is a huge success.

There wasn't anything wrong with the SFX, only the stories are weak, I mean, at the end of AVP a female human joins forces with a Predator to fight the Alien queen and in AVPR the pizza delivery guy is the big hero. lol

But that doesn't mean they are tougher then a group of soldiers. lol

Arnold Schwarzenegger Offered "Predators" Role

Back in September, producer John Davis revealed that he was rebooting the "Predator" franchise and even had a chance to talk to Arnold Schwarzenegger about reprising his role as Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer.

Now that Robert Rodriguez is making a new "Predators" movie and has decided to make a sequel instead of a remake, he too is interested in bringing Arnold back. "Robert's camp has just reached out to Arnie's [camp]," Moviehole's source said. "But they haven't had a response yet."

The source continued: "They've written a role for him. Rodriguez is as against the idea of a straight-up remake as much as anyone – which is why they're considering this an official sequel to John McTiernan's film. Like Terminator, they know Schwarzenegger's a vital ingredient of the franchise. Ideally, Arnold will see it that way too. Ball is in his court now."

Arnold's Dutch character would not be the main person in the film. If Arnold accepts the offer, he is likely do a three day shoot for a role that can be considered larger than a cameo.

We will find out whether Arnold will be joining the film soon, since "Predators" is scheduled to hit theaters on July 7th, 2010.

Fandom is a crazy crazy place for endless gossip. Today, I've been hit with alleged stories about Jack Black playing Harry Mudd in the next Star Trek film and then from AB King and his like minded ARNIE lovers - emails with the subject line: ARNOLD HAS SAID YES TO RODRIGUEZ!

Well. If Robert bagged Arnie for PREDATORS - he'd call me up and geek out about it, because that's the exact sort of shit we can't resist telling one another about. And we get really excited. So I sent Robert an email basically telling him that I was hearing from many unreliable sources that Arnie had agreed to do something in PREDATORS - and then I asked simply: True or BS?

Here's what he responded with:

Feels like all i have to do is sit here, and let the websites do the work!

Actually, what probably happened is someone conjured that up because of my 1994 draft, that had Dutch as a main character. And then it probably just built from there.

But no, we're still writing a new script, and although I know Arnold personally and he's the coolest person on the planet, I have not contacted him about this at all at this time.
As promised, I'll keep you posted on such developments since Predator is such a fan favorite.

But then again, he could very well have told someone he'd be into it. Who knows?
Personally, I haven't heard anything. But it's still early in the day.

And that folks is the truth. Casting isn't going to happen till a couple of other things happen first. Right now, Robert is meeting with a number of very cool candidates to take the directing reigns. They'll have to get a script they're really solid on. That will have to be approved by the folks at FOX (gulp), and then casting will get going. SO... AB - please shut the fuck up with the bullshit Arnie rumors. Wait for the guy to get out of office before going nuts, please!
