This proofs again they can't make a Terminator film without the real Arnold, I heard a lot of bad reviews about this film and they found that this part with the CGI Arnold is the best part of the film.

Yeah i saw it 2 nights ago, the movie itself wasnt bad really, the storyline was good, but there were a few things i was real disapointed in, Roland Kickinger's body was used on the T-800 but Arnolds face was def CGI, there wasnt enough fighting between the T-600s and the human race, this movie was pretty much a bridge for a 5th movie that will have, hopefully, more fighting in it and more gore, there really wasnt no gore in the movie at all and well, like i said, fighting was minumal, but other then that it wasnt that bad of a movie

| I saw it and really enjoyed it. The war is what I expected it to be. I thought this movie without Arnold wouldn't be good. But I was quite surprised and happy with it. You also have to remember that this film was based on the war against man and machine/skynet. I'm sure a lot of your questions will be answered in the next one. I didn't see what was so bad about it. from how kyle reese spoke of the war in part 1. it pretty much gives a good look at the war. And it was great to see christian bale as John. figured he would be a borning John Connor. But I really loved him as John Conner!
The only thing I didn't like was there was no reference from 3 to 4. but I think the reason why because it was 10 to 12 years after part 3. Big Terminator fan, own them all!

This wouldn't be a surprice McG Headbutted by Bill Murray"Terminator Salvation" director McG told The Guardian that he is no strangers to on-set rants (like Christian Bale's), admitting that Bull Murray previously headbutted him. "I don't think there's been a film I've made where there hasn't been some kind of physical fight," he said. "I've been headbutted by an A-list star. Square in the head. An inch lower and my nose would have been obliterated." He added: "I probably shouldn't - but it was Bill Murray. Y'know, it's a passionate industry." McG and Murray worked together on the original "Charlie's Angels" movie. Ironically, Murray withdrew from the sequel, "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," to be replaced by the late Bernie Mac.

The film was good but it's just a regular action film that I'd seen it all before, nothing in T4 stood out, directors don't make "classic" shots/scenes anymore like T1 & T2 had, they just looking for nice CGI effects that doesn't do shit to make it a classic film, the only thing I will remember in years is the CGI Arnold but the rest is like all the same action movies that are made today. Marcus is the main character of the film but it just felt like it was a way the writers were thinking to fill the story, the film had to be more about John Connor and how the human resistance started, also the T-600 didn't had that much screen time, Skynet knows that Kyle Reese is the father of John Connor?, HTF do they know this? maybe the writers should had watched the first films more then once before they started writing the story. lol

The Rights to The Terminator Franchise Are Up for Sale AgainThe Los Angeles Times reports that the rights to the Terminator franchise are again up for sale. Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek, who nabbed the science-fiction franchise in 2007 for $25 million and produced this year's Terminator Salvation, are apparently looking to sell the rights "partially or outright as several companies owned by the duo work their way through bankruptcy." Anderson and Kubicek own Halcyon Holding Group. They recently hired the financial advisory firm FTI Capital Advisors, if the bankruptcy court approves, to "evaluate strategic alternatives," they said in a statement. Any deal for the rights would have to have an investment in, or outright sale, of said rights. The Terminator came out in 1984 but the rights to the franchise have been sold more than any other major Hollywood film series. When the film was released, Hemdale Film Corp. (the film's production company), owned a 50% interest in the property. Director James Cameron sold the other half of the rights to producing partner and future wife Gale Anne Hurd for $1. Carolco Pictures, which was owned by producers Mario Kassar and Andrew Vajna, then picked up Hemdale's stake in 1990 for $10 million. They subsequently released Terminator 2: Judgement Day the next year. In 1997, after Carolco filed for bankruptcy, they started a new venture, C2 Pictures. C2 then bought the rights "for $8 million and the remaining 50% from Hurd for $8 million." Then in 2007, Kassar and Vajna sold off their rights to newbie producers Anderson and Kubicek. Since then there have been filings, more filings and more time spent in courts. So the big question now is will we see Terminator 5? Terminator Salvation director McG and star Christian Bale had been high on creating more stories for the franchise, but with the rights changing hands yet again this could make things tougher for that to happen. Also, it seems that the movie was something of a box office disappointment for it's studio Warner Bros.
