If them guys do a 3rd movie, GB Franchise is fucked....They will make amochary out of it.......If they 3rd movie aint in CGI.....or live action with the original crew......I wont see it

"Dawg" almost hit the nail on the head right there. If its going to happen Dan and Harold better have total creative control over the whole damn thing. CGI i oculd live with, live action....has anyone seen Harold Ramis recently, I dont know about you guys but I wouldnt like to see him in a khaki jumpsuit.

Well, Egon is a little fat now lol, so is Ray, but i mean, if they were to do this movie im sure theyd lose a considerable amount of weight, i mean Ray started gainin weight in GB2 and now, he looks pretty much the same, hed have to lose maybe 20lbs but Egon, maybe like 40 lol

Or 50 lbs. Dude seriously hit the buffet big time.

I'd support a CGI GB movie any day of the week. Only thing i ask is that Ramis and Ackroyd have TOTAL creative control.

NO live action. Ever again. Unless there's a ultra great reboot, somehow.

E!Online caught up with Dan Aykroyd at an event in Toronto earlier this week and asked him to comment on the rumors of a potential Ghostbusters 3. Cue the campaigning: the former Ray Stantz said: "Well, y’know, two sharp young writers in Hollywood are purported to be writing the sequel, the third movie now. If I could interest Seth [Rogen] and Judd [Apatow] to be part of it, that would be an absolute dream".

and Dan Aykroyd does the Tequila Rap Laughing

haha good to see a resent video of him. It's surprising that he isn't co-writer. Than it could be a secret that he is with holding from the public. You know how the media can get and twist things.

GUYS!!! CHECK OUT WHAT I READ AT IGN.COM!!! OMFG!! affraid Shocked

Ghostbusters Back in Business

Office scribes set to script for original cast.

September 4, 2008

- After a two decade absence, the Ghostbusters finally appear ready to
return to the silver screen. Columbia Pictures has tapped the
Emmy-nominated writing team of Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky
(co-executive producers of
The Office) to pen the screenplay.

What's more,

Variety reports that the new script will be "for a film designed to bring back together the original cast of Harold Ramis
, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson." (There were rumors years ago that Ghostbusters 3 would revolve around a younger set of GBs instead.)

The trade adds, "No deals will be made with the original cast until the
script is ready, but the gross percentage will certainly be an issue.
Sony has a standing policy not to allow more than 25% of first dollar
gross out the door."

Harold Ramis recently directed the Sony comedy
Year Zero, which was scripted by Eisenberg and Stupnitsky.

......and that's all she wrote! Let the message board begin!.....

You can go to IGN.com to read the article for yourself below if you want to check it out~

I don't get it, years ago Dan and Harold wrote a GBIII script and Sony wasn't interested, now Sony hires 2 people to write a new GBIII script that involves the original cast but only will make a deal with them until the script is finished, why doesn't Sony just make a deal with the original cast now and let Dan and Harold write the GBIII script, does Sony maybe have a backup plan when the original cast won't do it they cast other actors? There's something strange hapening here.

becuase i dont want to see my favourite film deystroyed with a crappy sequel.. cant see why dan cant let sleeping dogs lie.

when i think of ghostbusters i think of dan, bill harold and ernie. and if they make another one the kids will watch it, and they will love it and buy the toys, but will they prefer the new one or the old "uncool" ones? "urrrrgh old films.. woudent dare watch those"
