my choice for the cast would be all the original actors

egb : John Leguizamo (Eduardo) even if he's like 44, Ellen Page (Kylie), no idea for Garrett and Roland

new team : Steve Carell!

I know your a big fan of Steve Carell but I can't see him as a GB but more like a new Louis Tully. lol

I think that Seth Rogen would be a good choice for the new team.
Also, I saw "Superbad" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" lately and there's an actor who played in both movies Bill Hader and he reminds me a lot of Dan Aykroyd in his acting and looks a little bit like him too, I think he could be a good choice to be a new GB, maybe related with Ray Stantz, his nephew or so:

I could see Steve Carell and Seth Rogen as future Ghostbusters , but I don't think there should be any new cast at all.

The 3rd movie needs to be all the old cast. They get back in the suits, and are out breakin their backs, while they are bustin ghosts in NYC once more! They may be out of their league this time, but take the last ghost out as a team. Rick Moranis is with them too. The movie ends with them all retiring, and recruiting a younger new cast, for the newer generation.

If it is a complete remake, Steve Carell, Seth Rogen, Bill Hader, idk Jason Segel, if it is all those guys I hope they bring in some other top comedian like Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy idk....

Michael Welch(The Ritches): Male GB recruit (charismatic/smart type)
Thora Birch(Ghost World): Female GB recruit, EPA rep, temp receptionist or tech GB recruit
Seth Rogan(Pineapple Express): Male GB recruit (slacker type)
Tyler Labine(Reaper): Male GB recruit/ tech guy
