I had a cat but she died last year, she was also 14, it still hurts to think about it.

that's sad to hear about your losses. Lou-Lou is the first cat I had for 5 years. I had a few before than. But they either died or disappear. I can understand your pain. I had a very expensive cat when I was younger. His name was smokey. He was a a humalian cat. And later he passed away from a kidney infection. apparently the lady that gave the cat to us. Failed to mention that the mother passed a infection to her kittens. So my cat only lived a 3-4 months after we got him. And my cat seem to be fine. Until one day I came home and he was laying under my bed. By the time I got him to the vet and the vet got to him he was gone. So I stayed emotional over that for a few months. I really wasn't wanting another pet. But something told me to get Lou-Lou. So I did and she's given me alot of joy and love.
